As promised www.HowToPickLotteryNumbers.com has released a new advice page to subscribers providing rules for playing lotteries in circumstances made difficult by the credit crunch. The main point is that seeking a lottery win is the wrong way to solve financial difficulties. There is no justification for buying loads of lottery tickets, indeed this would be irresponsible.
However in gloomy economic times there seems to me to be no harm in a bit of fun at the lowest possible cost. We tell subscribers how to do this most effectively and to focus their investment in a way that can make a difference, however unlikely the chance of a big win. Some lottery pools are a terribly bad bet because the downside is losing and the upside is winning a modest amount of money. Where is the sense in that? We think it is more sensible to bet a small amount, which you will most likely lose but has an upside of the chance of winning a life-changing big win. Play for fun and dream, but don’t spend very much.
